Plot Synopsis
After winning $500,000 dollars on a scratch-off lottery ticket, the Stallworths move from the 'hood to a middle-class neighborhood in Southern California, where this African American family works to live the dream. Whether they're looking for a missing doll on moving day or having their children, Ebony and Devin, spend several days at the grandparent's home allowing them to have a romantic weekend at home, the lucky father, Anthony, and the wise mother, Lisa, lovingly help each other and their children adjust to a new house and neighborhood -- all while keeping their family values and relationships intact. And when they're not battling each other, they are contending with a host of family, friends, and neighbors, including Tony's snobby older brother Todd and Lisa's feisty sisters Rachel and Lori, all set in the tight knit community of Windsor Hills.
