Plot Synopsis

In this nationally syndicated cooking series, Chef Jeff Henderson travels short distances to find fresh food, and then works with food vendors, friends, and his sous chef to cook up healthy meals, showing how good food choices can lead to a life changing experience for the whole family. In each 30-minute episode, Jeff finds fresh food in a different location, including: an alligator-infested bayou, where he catches fresh black drum that he and his young sous-chef, Garrett, scale down and poach for their seafood medley meal; Lake Pontchartrain, where Chef Jeff catches fresh blue crabs so he and his young friends, Sean and Mack, can cook the crabs with a side of California style succotash; the dock, where he picks up fresh gulf jumbo shrimp for his outdoor barbeque extravaganza with young chef Payton; a free-range farm to select some freshly laid eggs for his healthy breakfast menu; and many more great places.
