Plot Synopsis
For the first time ever, cast members from all four LOVE & HIP HOP cities come together in person for this limited series. With 2020 being a year of turmoil for the community, fan-favorites unite for an outrageous action-packed gathering to celebrate #BlackJoy and resilience while creating new traditions. The six-part first season touches on relevant topics including hip-hop, marriage and divorce, healing broken families, entrepreneurship, and the BLM movement. In addition to the LOVE & HIP HOP family, the cast also includes Tamika D. Mallory, social justice leader and co-founder of social justice organization Until Freedom, and hip-hop artist and activist Mysonne. In the series opener, "Reunited and It Feels So Good," the party kicks off with an epic cookout and sexy pajama jam where old scores are settled and new betrayals are revealed.
The sophomore season of VH1 FAMILY REUNION: LOVE & HIP HOP EDITION premiered on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 8pm ET/PT on VH1. Season 2 brings together fan-favorites from all four cities of Love & Hip Hop to continue the tradition of celebrating Black Joy during an action-packed, fun and revealing, week-long gathering full of friendship, foe-ship, secrets, flings and forgiveness. The cast features leads from Atlanta, New York, Hollywood and Miami, including Amina Buddafly, Bobby Lytes, Booby Gibson, Brooke Valentine, Cisco Rosado, Cyn Santana, Erica Mena, Jonathan Fernandez, Juelz Santana, Kimbella, Marcus Black, Mimi Faust, Peter Gunz, Rich Dollaz, Safaree, Shekinah Jo, Stevie J, Tara, Yo-Yo and ZellSwag. In the season opener, "When Friends Are Like Family," Mimi, Jonathan, and Brooke host a kick-off event where the Creep Squad is forced to settle the score with each other; Erica Mena learns some unexpected news; Booby and Cyn are instantly drawn to each other; and Juelz Santana conjures the good vibes.
Season 3 of VH1 FAMILY REUNION: LOVE & HIP HOP EDITION debuted on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT on VH1. This season cast members get a fresh perspective of what it means to be "family" and continue the tradition of celebrating Black Excellence during an action-packed, fun and revealing two week-long gathering full of friendship, foe-ship, secrets, flings and forgiveness. The star-studded cast features favorites from Atlanta, New York, Hollywood and Miami, including Alexis Skyy, Amara La Negra, Chrissy Lampkin, Emjay Johnson, Estelita, Gunplay, Jenn Coreano, Jim Jones, Karen "KK" King, Karlie Redd, Khaotic, Lyrica Anderson, Mama Jones, Mariahlynn, Miami Tip, Nikki Baby, Phresher, Safaree, Scrapp Deleon, Shay Johnson, Shekinah Jo, Spice, Sukihana, Teairra Mari, Tokyo Vanity and Trick Daddy. In the season opener, "Sun-Dazed & Confused," the Queen of Dancehall, Spice, returns to her homeland where she's hosting the first international Family Reunion. With her co-host, Amara La Negra -- and Family Reunion veteran, Trick Daddy -- they're gathering their friends and family to catch up.
