Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Ayesha Curry, FAMILY FOOD FIGHT is an elimination competition series that features family teams squaring off with their most prized family recipes, highlighting their culinary skills and cultural heritage, as they try to impress Ayesha and judges Cat Cora and Graham Elliot. In the end only one family can claim the coveted title of America's No. 1 Food Family and take home the $100,000 prize.

In the series opener, "Meet the Families (Part 1)," four different families -- the White Family, the Graves Family, the Lenzi Family and the Lee Family -- take on a series of cooking challenges, including a six-course family feast and a breakfast-for-dinner spread, before facing elimination in front of the celebrity judging panel, which includes Ayesha, Cat, and Graham Elliot. The three families who impress the judges the most will advance to the next round of the competition. The second episode, "Meet the Families (Part 2)," features four more additional families -- the Livanos Family, the Maniya Family, the Min Family and the Nichols Family, who are tasked with creating a six-course family feast and their own spin on an American classic, a hamburger with fries and a milkshake. Again, only three of these four families advance to the next round.

On Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 9-10pm ET/PT, ABC premiered the season finale of FAMILY FOOD FIGHT. Pressure is at an all-time high as two more challenges stand between the remaining families of home cooks and victory. Only one family -- the Maniyas or the Nichols -- will ultimately be crowned America's No. 1 Food Family and take home the $100,000 prize.
