Plot Synopsis

In this series of four one-hour specials, British television presenter Dawn Porter travels the world exploring how men and women find partners. First in San Diego, California, Dawn explores the world of polyamory, or free love, and lives with people who share their partners. Next, in the former Soviet Union, she exposes the mail-order bride industry where men and women try to find love in a week. Travelling to Japan in the third special, she spends a week in a geisha house. Finally, Dawn investigates women who practice polygamy. Premiered in the United States on August 8, 2009 on WE tv.
