Plot Synopsis

EVERMOOR is a half-hour scripted series that follows Tara Crossley, an American teen who is uprooted from her city home in the U.S. and brought to a beautiful but isolated village on the edge of some very creepy moors in middle England. As her famous novelist mom and step-dad are busy unpacking at Evermoor Manor, Tara and her British step-siblings try to adjust to life in their new home. It's not long before danger, mystery and intrigue unfurl, as Tara discovers a magic tapestry that tells the future. The Tapestry is tended to by the sinister Everines, who are determined to get rid of her and her family -- at any cost. Tara's step-brother Seb is very intelligent and his brains are complimented by good looks, a sharp wit, and a wicked sense of humor. His twin sister, Bella, is a typical rebellious teenager and her personality often clashes loudly with her new step-sister Tara. The two step-sisters are both interested in Cameron, the local village heart-throb who catches the eye of both of them, causing tension between the two new sisters. Also in town is Sorsha, the mayor's daughter, who is an Everine in training. Originally developed as a multi-part original movie, EVERMOOR aired as four, half-hour episodes. Disney broadcast the U.S. premiere of this series on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT, one week after EVERMOOR's world premiere on Disney UK.
