Plot Synopsis

EPIC features extravagant amenities and over-the-top luxury items that people are willing to buy that sport expert craftsmanship, technology and innovation. This series explores the most excessive and outrageous items for which people are willing to fork over their life's savings, while introducing the people that make them and the daydreamers who took their passion to another level. From tricked out RVs and floating homes to one-of-a-kind pools and BBQ pits, EPIC shows how these splurges were made, how they work, and why in the world people go to such great lengths to acquire their dream. Each 60-minute episode highlights a different prized possession, including log homes, pools, houseboats, yachts, RVs, BBQ pits and more. On Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 10pm ET, Destination America aired the "Log Homes" episode of EPIC, a sneak preview of a series that will premiere in mid-January 2013. In "Log Homes," EPIC features the Kirkland Kastle, a Jackson Hole log home, and much more.
