Plot Synopsis

At a center in Cheshire, a group of animal experts work together with pet owners to fix a variety of embarrassing health and behavioral issues. The team consists of Leon Towers, animal behavior specialist Caroline Clark and veterinarians, Deepti Sharma and Gavin McDonagh. Before the owners are offered help with their pets, the series will document the issues they are facing from home before following progress made at the practice. Pet owners share their stories in an open and amusing manner. EMBARRASSING PETS made its U.S. debut on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 9-10pm ET/PT, as Animal Planet debuted back-to-back episodes:

"Menacing Marley" (9pm): At the clinic, a mutt called Marley is wreaking havoc at home and her owners are in desperate need of conquering the chaos. Later, Dr. Gavin handles a smelly shih-tzu, and animal behaviorist Caroline meets a very demanding duck called Charlie.

"Paw Problems" (9:30pm): At the clinic, owners of an outspoken shih-tzu is in need of dog behaviorist Leon's help to conquer his incessant barking. Later, Dr. Gavin helps a very pesky parrot with this attitude problem, and Dr. Deepti helps a Bichon Frise's itchy paw problem.
