Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Evette Rios, DREAM QUEST gives families of all age groups the opportunity to live their dreams, as they embark upon journeys filled with excitement, adventure and learning aboard "The Breakaway." This modern, state-of-the-art vessel -- led by a seasoned captain, cruise director and highly skilled crew -- is a floating classroom designed to take families on an interactive voyage where they learn about the world's amazing oceans, the animals that swim beneath the water and the ecological advancements underway to preserve and protect our most precious resources. Each 30-minute episode features two different families, including: 13-year-old twins, Danielle and Samantha, who couldn't be more different -- with Danielle taking her love of science to a new level while trying to get her twin to love it, too; nationally ranked college freshman Nicole, who is challenged with learning how to scuba dive in just one day; Kathy, a high school teacher from Canada, who has a dream of performing with a live band on a cruise ship; Nick, a high school student from Canada, who has dreams of sailing the clear, blue waters of Bermuda with his two best friends; Ericka, who, with the help of her friend Taylor, has a dream to conquer her massive fear of heights; best friends Makenzie and Ellie, who both share the dream of becoming a veterinarian; and many others chasing their dreams. This series premiered the weekend of Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 11:30am in most cities (check local listings) as part of Litton Entertainment's programming block, "One Magnificent Morning," a five-hour educational and informational programming block for teens and their families, airing on Saturday mornings on CW affiliates across the United States.
