Plot Synopsis

DOWN FOR LOVE is a one-hour docuseries that follows a group of Kiwis with Down syndrome as they navigate the trials and triumphs of dating. From rock climbing, bicycling and fishing trips to spa days and home-cooked meals, relationships flourish and fresh romances take root. As Libby tests the waters with Damian, Josh meets with a relationship educator before his first date. Brooke and Jesse plan their future life together. Sparks fly as Leisel and Brayden bond over mini golf and pottery. At Larnach Castle, creatives Carlos and Aelinor discover their shared love of the arts. Actress Lily lands a lucky strike on a bowling double date. At an art museum, John and Emma look to the future. DOWN FOR LOVE made its U.S debut on Friday, August 11, 2023 on Netflix, which released all five episodes.
