Plot Synopsis

Emergency-room doctor Billy Goldberg, author of "Why Do Men Have Nipples?", provides a weekly dose of health tips, as he demystifies health topics and provides real solutions for viewers. In each 30-minute episode, Dr. Billy takes on a different topic, including: poor sleeping habits, showing how they impact overall health and visiting a sleep center with expert Dr. Chris Winter; memory formation in the brain; and many other issues, such as the effects of sugar, and even a few surprises, like testing a full-body sleeping bag with actress Julianne Moore. THE DOSE WITH DR. BILLY was one of three shows to debut on HLN primetime as part of Turner's new multi-platform health and wellness entertainment brand upwave ("Live life on the up").
