Plot Synopsis

DOOMSDAY CAUGHT ON CAMERA is a one-hour docuseries that explores shocking weather events and natural disasters -- including volcanoes, earthquakes, hurricanes and tsunamis -- that have been filmed by individuals and uploaded online. These stories are driven by first-person accounts of those who survived these life-changing events, with supporting expertise from renowned geologists, meteorologists, voices from a theological perspective along with healing/recovery specialists. The series opener, "The Cruise from Hell and More," features a man trapped in a twister, who comes face-to-face with death; 4,000 passengers on a cruise ship getting pelted with a terrifying bomb cyclone; and a raging flood blasting through a quiet Maryland town, destroying all in its path.
