Plot Synopsis

June, a naive Midwestern girl, moves to New York City from Indiana and has her dreams dashed, only to find Apartment 23 -- the perfect place to live with her new and imperfect roommate Chloe, who is a sexy, unstable, nearly-amoral NYC party girl. These two very different beauties are surrounded by men: James Van Der Beek, who plays himself, is best friends with Chloe; Eli is the preppy pervert who lives next door; and Mark, who would have been June's boss at the mortgage company, is instead her co-worker at a coffee shop. The role played by James Van Der Beek was originally written for *NSYNC singer Lance Bass. The show's second season premiered on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 with James going against Chloe's advice, succumbing to June's urging and attempting a DAWSON'S CREEK reunion! Along the way, he made some shocking discoveries and encountered some stars of television past, with these guest stars playing themselves: Busy Philipps, Frankie Muniz, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar.
