Plot Synopsis

DOCTOR FOSTER: A WOMAN SCORNED is a psychological drama series that centers on Doctor Gemma Foster, a loving wife, mother and trusted doctor whose seemingly perfect world is shattered when she suspects her husband Simon is having an affair. As the lies and betrayal come to light, she finds herself behaving in ways she could never have imagined. Determined to find out the truth, she thrusts herself into an all-consuming investigation only to reveal a deceitful pack of secrets that slowly unravel her life and the lives of those around her. Lifetime aired the U.S. premiered of this series on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT, showing the first of three, two-hour episodes, with subsequent installments scheduled for the following two Sundays.

Life is getting back to normal for Doctor Gemma Foster after the turmoil that followed the discovery of husband Simon's betrayal. Attempting to move on from the divorce, Gemma is focused on creating a stable life for their teenage son Tom, but Simon's surprise return complicates matters. As Gemma finds herself increasingly at odds with Simon, she scrambles to uncover his secrets. But how far will Gemma go to protect the ones she loves?
