Plot Synopsis

Created and written by Normand Daneau and Genevieve Simard, THE DISAPPEARANCE is a one-hour serialized mystery drama series that explores how 10-year-old Anthony's extended family deals with his unexplained and sudden disappearance. The series opens the story the night before Anthony's disappearance and follows the family through the investigation of his sudden vanishing. As the police search for signs and traces of evidence, long-buried familial secrets with devastating consequences come back to the surface, leaving a permanent mark on every generation of the family. THE DISAPPEARANCE had its U.S. premiere on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 10pm ET/PT on WGN America.

On Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Midnight ET/PT, WGN America premiered the season finale of THE DISAPPEARANCE. In the season ender, "Redemption," the police and the Sullivans race to find Anthony.
