Plot Synopsis

DIRTY OLD CARS is a half-hour docuseries that follows the owners and staff of three different detailing shops -- Unique Classic Cars in Mankato, MN (Jeremy Thomas & Jeff Kuckenbecker); Visual Perfection in Morganton, NC (Jamie Buchanan); and Red's Detail Co. in Marietta, GA (Eron Knox) -- as they hunt down dirty and often unrecognizable 4-wheeled gems. The teams then either buy, clean and flip or clean for hire some of the most disgusting critter-infested cars in the country. Each episode features two "before and after" reveals as viewers witness cleaning processes and transformations that make these cars sparkle like new. On Wednesday January 18, 2023 from 10-11am ET/PT, History Channel premiered back-to-back new episodes:

"Daddy's Maverick" (10am): Across America, thousands of vehicles are trapped under layers of muck and decay. And now, the top detailing shops in the nation take on the grime. First, an '81 Camaro Z28 covered in layers of dirt and filth needs a major transformation to get it back on the road. Then, a '72 Ford Maverick encrusted with years of mold and debris must be meticulously revitalized for a client with sentimental attachment.

"Goat Mobile" (10:30am): A minivan filled with melted crayons, trash and hay must be scrubbed, sanitized, and decontaminated. Then, a Cutlass Supreme filled with corn and animal feces is in need of a 'supreme' cleaning in order to live up to its name.

On Saturday, May 20, 2022 from 10-11am ET/PT, History Channel premiered the final two episodes of DIRTY OLD CARS' first season:

"Road Trip Ready" (10am): In Minnesota, a customer wants his crusty Cabriolet transformed into a road worthy vehicle he can take cross country with his dad. Then, in Georgia, Knoxy and Wu try to turn an atrocious Accord into a heavenly Honda.

"Swamp Thing" (10:30am): In North Carolina, Jamie transforms a moldy Hummer into a show stunner. Then, in Georgia, a disgusting Dodge Dakota is cleansed of years of algae, sediments, and rat poop.
