Plot Synopsis

Three teams of relic hunters travel to different historical locations across America, competing against each other to find the most valuable artifacts at each site. Whether they're searching for Civil War relics at Fort St. Philip in Louisiana or digging for treasure at America's oldest European settlement at Eastover Plantation in Virginia, these diggers use dirty tricks, high-tech toys and home-turf advantages trying to outdo each other. At the end of each 30-minute episode, the teams take their finds to a local expert -- like Joe Wyman at Casell Gallery in New Orleans or Governor's Antiques in Virginia -- who appraises their loot and announces which team picked up the most valuable relics. The three teams are: Virginia natives Josh and Abby Silva, a husband-wife team; Larry Cissna of thetreasuredepot.com and Mike Scott from First Texas/Fisher Labs; and 'Chicago Ron' Guinazzo and his partner, Mark Slinkman.
