Plot Synopsis

Using cinematic recreations and first-person testimony to tell stories simultaneously from the perspectives of the mastermind murderess and the investigators, DIABOLICAL WOMEN explores the twisted minds of deviously clever women who used their smarts to devise elaborate schemes of crime and murder. These women might have put their efforts into running a business, but instead methodically planned out extraordinary crimes in order to get what they wanted no matter what -- or who -- they had to do away with to make it happen, including their feminine wiles. Plus, these women thought their cunning could outsmart the law, but DIABOLICAL WOMEN also tracks the persistent detective work it took to finally bring them to justice. Each one-hour episode focuses on a different criminal, including: Sante Kimes, who brainwashed her son into becoming her partner in crime as the duo went on a cross-country killing spree; Tracey Richter; Dana Sue Gray; and more women who have committed heinous crimes.
