Plot Synopsis
Five maids, all with ambitions and dreams of their own, work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills, where murder and mayhem collide, illicit affairs are revealed and dark secrets are exposed. The women turn to one another for support when their friend and fellow maid, Flora, is brutally murdered at the home of her employers, Evelyn and Adrian Powell, at one of the largest society events of the year. Meanwhile, newcomer Marisol is hired to clean the home of Taylor and Michael Stappord, a newlywed couple with a complicated love history, but Marisol has ulterior motives -- and when someone she loves becomes wrapped up in Flora's murder, she goes undercover to learn the truth. The other maids are: Rosie, a widow with a son back in Mexico, who works as the maid and nanny for a pair of self-absorbed and successful actors, Peri and Spence Westmore; aspiring singer Carmen, who hopes that her pop-star employer Alejandro can help jump-start her career, but Odessa, his very loyal housekeeper and her boss, will stop at nothing to stand in her way; Zoila, who is the senior maid for Genevieve Delatour, a codependent, emotionally unstable wealthy woman; and Zoila's teen daughter, Valentina, who works with her mother and has a crush on Genevieve's handsome son, Remi. DEVIOUS MAIDS is executive produced by DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES' creator Marc Cherry and star Eva Longoria. Lifetime broadcast the Season 2 premiere of DEVIOUS MAIDS on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT. Following last season's revelation of Flora's murderer, Rosie's shocking arrest by immigration agents, the demise of Valentina and Zoila's relationship and Carmen's fake engagement, Beverly Hills is now hit by a wave of criminal activity that leaves its residents in a vulnerable situation. Meanwhile, Marisol engages in a new romance but quickly discovers there is more than meets the eye to her new lover. Zoila's need to control everything starts to take a toll on her personal life, especially with Valentina, who is now working for a surprising new employer. Rosie's immigration status is in flux, while Carmen embraces her life in the limelight as the fiance to a pop star. DEVIOUS MAIDS returned for a third season on Lifetime on a new night, Mondays at 9pm ET/PT, beginning June 1, 2015. Season 3 picked up at the height of the previous season's cliffhanger where a deranged gunman takes aim at the maids during Rosie and Spence's wedding, leaving everyone to wonder who will survive. In the wake of this tragedy, the women lean on each other like never before, even as they face complex problems in their own lives. Zoila ponders her next steps after discovering that she is pregnant and uncertain who the father may be. Carmen realizes there is more than meets the eye to the charming Sebastien. Meanwhile, Valentina and Remi struggle to connect in the aftermath of the shooting; Marisol's aspirations lead her to a surprising career change; and Blanca, a new maid in the neighborhood, lands a job with a seemingly picture-perfect family, but soon discovers a terrible secret that could change her life forever. Lifetime premieres Season 4 of DEVIOUS MAIDS on Monday, June 9, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT. This season, Marisol finds herself acting as a support system to Evelyn in the wake of a big life change. Meanwhile, Rosie's positive and sunny disposition leaves much to be desired by her new boss, Genevieve who is acclimating to a household without Zoila's honest and acerbic humor. Carmen continues to pursue her singing career until her cousin Daniela comes to town and shakes things up. Marisol also finds herself in a new relationship, which eventually becomes a complicated triangle when her old flame Jesse reappears. With a special appearance by Eva Longoria in the Season 4 premiere, the new season opens with lives being changed forever following the explosion at the Powell mansion.. Joining in recurring roles in Season 4 are Longoria's DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES castmate James Denton, Carlos Ponce, Ryan McPartlin, Stephanie Faracy and Elizabeth Rodriguez. Kathryn LaNasa also makes a guest appearance this season, joining her real-life husband, Grant Show.
