Plot Synopsis

DESCENDANTS: WICKED WORLD is a short-form animated series that picks up after the final scene of Disney's DESCENDANTS, the TV movie that premiered seven weeks earlier (July 31) on Disney Channel. In the film, Ben, the benevolent teenage son of the King and Queen (Beast and Belle from "Beauty and the Beast"), was poised to take the throne. To the shock of his parents, his first proclamation was to offer a chance at redemption to Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay, the trouble-making offspring of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Cruella de Vil and Jafar, who had all been sequestered on the forbidden Isle of the Lost for 20 years. These villainous descendants were allowed into Auradon for the first time to attend prep school alongside the teenage progeny of Fairy Godmother, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Mulan. Just like the telefilm, this series is set in the Auradon and Isle of the Lost worlds, with character voices provided by these stars of the movie: Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart, Mitchell Hope, Brenna D'Amico, Sarah Jeffery, and Dianne Doan. Plus, this short-form series introduces new characters and features four original songs that were released as bonus tracks on the DESCENDANTS soundtrack.
