Plot Synopsis

Every four years during the year of a Presidential election, the Democratic National Convention welcomes delegates from all 50 states and US territories in a different American city. The delegates of the Democratic Party vote on the party platform, ceremonially report their vote to nominate their choice for Presidential candidate, and affirm the choice of Vice Presidential candidate.

The 2024 DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION is held August 19 to 22, 2024 at the United Center in Chicago, IL, where delegates will nominate Vice President Kamala Harris for President and affirm her choice of Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota for Vice President. The event will be broadcast nightly on ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, and various cable news channels, as Democratic leaders, everyday Americans, performers, and more rally behind the Harris-Walz ticket.
