Plot Synopsis

DEEP WATER SALVAGE is a one-hour docuseries that follows marine construction firms around the globe as they race against the clock to salvage ships in peril from extreme ocean weather. Viewers get access to the closed and sometimes secretive world of marine salvage of four salvage companies operating in the USA, Central America and the UK, exploring the tough and unrelenting world of the salvage crews. Body cams and diving helmets equipped with HD cameras, combined with footage captured by production crews embedded in the action, allow audiences to go along on these high pressure missions. In the series opener, "Emergency!," responding to an emergency call, Northstar marine sets out to salvage a sunken tug in the Delaware Bay; following the devastation caused by Hurricane Sally, Capt. Chris Ward and his crew work to salvage sunken sailboats and wrecked powerboats.

The sophomore season of DEEP WATER SALVAGE premiered on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 9pm ET on Weather Channel. The ever-present antagonist of severe weather will leave viewers with intense anticipation as they watch to see how each incredible salvage plays out. The daily risks of these dirty jobs will naturally have viewers rooting for their favorite salvage crews. This season is showcasing tougher recoveries, in harsher conditions, with higher stakes.

Season 3 of DEEP WATER SALVAGE debuted on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 8pm ET on Weather Channel. In the season opener, "Storm Force Destruction," Hurricane Ian slams into Florida and tosses a 60-foot fishing vessel onto a major highway; salvors face the daunting task of returning the precious vessel into the water unscathed.
