Plot Synopsis

Based on the UK TV series GOLD DIGGER, DECEITFUL LOVE is a six-episode thriller that follows the passionate and turbulent relationship of an older woman and a young man who is half her age. Their relationship undermines social and family norms of the Mediterranean culture -- but their age difference doesn't seem to be the only problem. After turning 60, the wealthy Gabriella suddenly falls in love with an attractive and much younger man, who she just met after he crashed his car -- and her family raises doubts about his intentions, with Stefano trying everything to expose his mother's lover and drive them apart. All six episodes of DECEITFUL LOVE dropped on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 on Netflix.
