Plot Synopsis

Adventurer and naturalist Steve Backshall travels the planet to find 60 of the world's deadliest creatures. Backshall treks to South Africa (angry hippo; venomous scorpion; crocodile; great white shark), Australia (lace monitor lizard; duck-billed platypus; saltwater crocodile), India (saw-scaled viper; tigers), Malaysia (cockroaches; venomous scorpion fish), United Kingdom (hornets; peregrine falcon), United States (deadly creatures in Alaska and Louisiana), Brazil (giant anteater; piranha) and many more dangerous locations. Nat Geo Wild aired the U.S. premiere of DEADLY 60 on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 10pm ET with back-to-back episodes.
