Plot Synopsis

From gluttony and greed to lust, envy, sloth, wrath, and pride, this series reveals scandalous crimes driven by the most basic of human instincts -- the seven deadly sins. Attorney Darren Kavinoky, a criminal behavior expert, provides professional insight and legal expertise as he analyzes each case in this seven-part series. Each one-hour episode features two different stories driven by the same excess of an unbridled particular passion, with the premiere episode highlighting gluttony, which shows how the overindulgence of anything -- sex, drugs, alcohol, and even love -- can lead to deadly outcomes. DEADLY SINS returned for its second season on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT, with the premiere episode featuring these two stories: a former altar boy with a nose for drugs and trouble, who transforms himself into every girl's worst nightmare; and a sultry stripper with a diabolical obsession, who seduces a pathological liar into fulfilling her sick and deadly fantasy. Investigation Discovery aired the Season 3 premiere of DEADLY SINS on Saturday, June 11, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT, with a season opener that chronicled the case of Jodi Arias, whose sins of wrath, lust, gluttony and pride resulted in one of the most cold-blooded murders in recent memory. On Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, Investigation Discovery premiered the fourth season of DEADLY SINS. In the Season 4 opener, "Dancing on Her Grave," Jason Griffith is a dancer who moves to the bright lights of Las Vegas, Nevada, landing a choice role in the Cirque de Soleil show. When he meets dancer Debbie Narvaez in Luxor's Fantasy show, sexual appetite leads these dancers down a horrific path. Season 5 of DEADLY SINS premiered on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery, with Darren Kavinoky returning to host another season of scandalous crimes driven by the most basic of human instincts -- from gluttony and greed to lust, envy, sloth, wrath, and pride. In the season opener, "High School Homicide," a high school love triangle tangled up with lust and envy, leads to a plot steeped in horror and tragedy too horrendous to believe. Later, a prideful policeman almost pulls off the perfect murder, until the case resurrects more than two decades later. On Friday, July 7, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT, Investigation Discovery premiered the sixth season of DEADLY SINS. In the season opener, "Conspiracy of Sinners," a church becomes a bloody battlefield when a rage-filed woman & her dysfunctional family come to town. Then, a woman meets a surgeon on the hunt for perfection, she will discover he has a lust for blood, and she is his prey.
