Plot Synopsis

Using first-person interviews and video footage, DEADLINE TO DISASTER is a one-hour docuseries that chronicles weather disasters. In the season opener, "Capital Catastrophe," unseasonably warm weather in Canada triggers six tornadoes in a matter of hours. An EF3 beast tears through a strip mall terrorizing a teenager and his mother who is impaled by flying glass, and another tornado cuts a path of destruction through Ottawa.

Season 2 of DEADLINE TO DISASTER premiered on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT on Weather Channel. In the season opener, "Blown Away," hurricane-force winds blast through Iowa battering the city of Cedar Rapids on Aug 10, 2020, and this rare Derecho packing powerful straight line winds takes the city by surprise and leaves behind a trail of destruction.

DEADLINE TO DISASTER returned for its third season on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT on Weather Channel. In the season opener, "Wall of Water," record-setting rainfall sends a wall of water into the small town of Waverly, Tenn., leaving residents stranded and clinging to life.
