Plot Synopsis

Based on Frederick Forsyth's 1971 book of the same name, THE DAY OF THE JACKAL is a 10-part drama series that follows an unrivaled and highly elusive lone assassin, the Jackal, who makes his living carrying out hits for the highest fee. But following his latest kill, he meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer who starts to track down the Jackal in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in its wake. THE DAY OF THE JACKAL made its U.S. debut on Thursday, November 14, 2024 on Peacock, which released the first five episodes. A new installment drops weekly on Thursdays through December 5, followed by two episodes for the finale on December 12.
