Plot Synopsis
An ode to George A. Romero's 1985 film of the same name, DAY OF THE DEAD is a 10-episode series that tells the story of six strangers trying to survive the first 24 hours after a normal day for the town of Mawinhaken takes a horrifying turn when the dead begin to rise.. On Tuesday, October 12, 2021, Syfy and USA Network aired a special preview episode of DAY OF THE DEAD, three days before its official series debut on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 10pm.

On Friday, December 17, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT, Syfy premiered "Choke on Em!," the season finale of DAY OF THE DEAD. Losing many of their own, the remaining survivors prepare for the ultimate showdown with the undead.
