Plot Synopsis

Carter Shaw leads an undercover team of LAPD cops who struggle to balance the honest work of the police force with the temptations and corruption that surround them. The team includes: Shaw, who lost much of his personal life when he lost his wife; Ty Curtis, who is recently married and tries to maintain his undercover contacts; Dean Bendis, who has fellow officers wondering if he's gone rogue; and Jaimie Allen, a newbie with a shady past and a penchant for lying. In Season 2, Alex Rice heads the joint undercover task force between the FBI and the Los Angeles police department -- a reality that doesn't sit very well with Carter -- and by the end of their first case, they'll end up either shooting each other or sleeping together.
