Plot Synopsis

Professional dangerman Jonathan Goodwin escapes from the most dangerous situations by emulating his childhood heroes, the great American sideshow acts and comic-book characters. Goodwin takes his unique brand of entertainment onto the streets of Britain and the US, where he climbs buildings, gets buried alive, catches arrows and fires a rifle blindfolded in front of stunned onlookers. In each 60-minute episode, Goodwin prepares for and executes two or three death-defying stunts, and the program goes behind the scenes to show how he trains intensively for his performances, many of which have never been attempted before and one that even Harry Houdini was unable to pull off. BBC America aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT.
