Plot Synopsis
CSI: VEGAS, the sequel to CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, opens a brand-new chapter in Las Vegas -- the city where it all began. Facing an existential threat that could bring down the entire Crime Lab and release thousands of convicted killers back onto the neon-lit streets of Vegas, a brilliant new team of investigators led by Maxine Roby must enlist the help of old friends, Gil Grissom, Sara Sidle and David Hodges. This combined force deploys the latest forensic techniques to do what they do best -- follow the evidence -- in order to preserve and serve justice in Sin City. CSI: VEGAS premiered Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT on CBS.
The sophomore season of CSI: VEGAS premiered on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT on CBS. The CSIs investigate the murder of a dominatrix found near her secret sex dungeon. After a three-week break, CSI: VEGAS returned with new episodes on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 10pm ET/PT on CBS. In the winter premiere, "Eyeballs," a social media influencer party ends with the brutal murder of a popular guest. Season 3 of CSI: VEGAS premiered on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 10pm ET/PT on CBS. Amidst the neon lights and long shadows, dark threats lurk in Sin City. Maxine Roby leads her brilliant team of crime scene investigators -- Catherine Willows, Allie Rajan, Detective Serena Chavez, Chris Park, and Beau Finado -- as they use science to solve baffling mysteries. Chief among them: who framed their colleague, Joshua Folsom, for a gruesome murder? The most daunting and dangerous cases in the history of this storied franchise are coming, and the team will have to deploy the latest forensic techniques to preserve and serve justice in Sin City. In the season opener, "The Reaper," with their respected colleague Josh Folsom under arrest for the death of Kahn Schefter -- the man responsible for killing Folsom's mother -- the CSI team combs through every crumb of forensic evidence to determine his innocence or guilt.
