Plot Synopsis
Produced by Mark Burnett and hosted by Terrence 'J' Jenkins, COUPLED is a one-hour reality series that follows 12 single, smart and young professional women looking for love, who meet face-to-face with eligible single men on the island of Anguilla. The women have first choice as they instantly decide if they feel a spark of chemistry and want to spend more time with each guy, or if they don't feel a connection and want to wait for the next one. The real soap opera unfolds as new couples are formed and have to discover whether or not they have the compatibility to make their relationships last. COUPLED also features the one thing that all modern romances have in common -- texting. The women and men are armed with cell phones throughout the series, giving the audience a front row seat to the real drama, as their text conversations pop up on screen. The 12 women of COUPLED are: Alexandra "Alex" (Age: 23; Louisville, KY); Alicia (29; Toluca Lake, CA); Alyssa (32; Sherman Oaks, CA); Ashley (27; Marco Island, FL); Brittany (24; Manhattan, NY); Domonique (29; Seattle, WA); Lindsey (30; Carlsbad, CA); Lisa (26; New York, NY); Michelle (28; New York, NY); Talyah (27; Lakewood, CO); and Terecia "TT" (26; Alhambra, CA).

On Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 8-10pm ET/PT, FOX premiered the season finale of COUPLED. In the two-hour season ender, "Coupled Up," the time has come for the couples to decide whether they're leaving Anguilla "coupled" or going home alone. With time running out, the guys and girls receive visits from some of their family members and are put on the spot to answer serious questions about their relationship, leading many to contemplate whether their island romances can survive in the real world.
