Plot Synopsis
Based on Fernando J. Munez's novel, "La cocinera de Castamar," which is set in 1720 Madrid, THE COOK OF CASTAMAR is a romantic period drama series that tells the story of a talented cook, Clara, who catches the eye of the widowed Duke of Castamar -- just as he returns to aristocratic society. THE COOK OF CASTAMAR had its U.S. premiere on Friday, July 9, 2021, as Netflix released the entire 12-episode first season.
