Plot Synopsis

Five amateur chefs from all walks of life compete against each other in a week-long cooking competition, as they host dinner parties in their own homes while vying for a $1,000 cash prize. In each one-hour episode, five cooks take turns hosting three-course meals for each other, complete with unique themes and locations ranging from the sublime to the sorry. At the end of each party, the four guests secretly critique the host's party and then rate it on a scale from 1-10, based on some combination of food quality, menu cohesiveness, party theme, and the host's performance. When the fifth dinner party ends, that night's host reads the results, revealing which contestant takes home the cash prize. Narrated by Todd Pettengill, COME DINE WITH ME is based on the popular UK series of the same name.
