Plot Synopsis

CODE OF THE WILD is a one-hour reality series that follows brothers Chris and Casey Keefer, who journey to the most inaccessible parts of the world could hold answers to some of history's longest-standing mysteries. With their unique set of wilderness skills, plus survival and tracking techniques, Chris and Casey venture into deep caves, rugged forests and icy temperatures in an attempt to track down the truth. In this series, the Keefer brothers investigate everything from the Boggs-Begich Alaskan plane crash to a lost colony of Ecuadorian giants. In the series opener, "The Curse of El Dorado," Casey and Chris are on the road to El Dorado. Using clues left behind by legendary explorer Percy Fawcett, the brothers head deep into the Amazon jungle to find key landmarks that could lead them to the lost City of Gold.

"I'm a history buff, and when it comes to unexplained mysteries, I go digging for evidence," said Casey. "The world's greatest secrets are hidden in the most perilous places. For us, that's where our journey begins. The rough and tough route is our path to answers, and every investigation is a wild adventure."

While Casey is the history buff, Chris is somewhat of the tech guy. "I use my love of technology to get us closer to the truth," he said. "Our equipment helps us to go deeper and see clearer than ever before. And by incorporating our own outdoor survival skills, we're able to put new theories to the test. There's no place we won't go in our search for answers."

On Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 10pm ET/PT, Travel Channel premiered "Swift Silver," the season finale of CODE OF THE WILD. Casey and Chris go on the hunt for a legendary silver mine said to be worth tens of millions of dollars. A cryptic journal leads the brothers into the wilds of Kentucky before sending them out West in search of the long-lost treasure.
