CMT CELEBRATES OUR HEROES: AN ARTISTS OF THE YEAR SPECIAL is a two-hour special that brings together country music's biggest names to recognize the most vital and inspirational Americans on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, including these essential workers: Healthcare, Education, Business, Community Leaders, Food Industry, Infrastructure, First Responders, US Military, and more. The special honors pandemic heroes through virtual tributes, call-outs and performances, with all talent filming directly from their respective homes. The lineup of guests includes Brothers Osborne, Florida Georgia Line, Kelsea Ballerini, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Brandi Carlile, Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Kristen Bell, Lauren Daigle, Luke Combs, Sam Hunt, Blake Shelton, Bobby Bones, Cody Alan, Gary Sinise, Jake Owen, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Lee Brice, Olivia Munn, Reba McEntire, Scarlett Johansson, Sean Penn, and Zac Brown.
