Plot Synopsis
Created by JG Quintel, CLOSE ENOUGH is an animated comedy series about a married couple, their five-year-old daughter, and their two divorced best friends/roommates all living together on the east side of Los Angeles. They're navigating that transitional time in your 30s when life is about growing up, but not growing old. It's about juggling work, kids, and pursuing your dreams, while avoiding time-traveling snails, stripper clowns, and murderous mannequins. Their life may not be ideal but for now, it's close enough. On Monday, October 25, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT, TBS aired the linear television debut of CLOSE ENOUGH.
The eight-episode sophomore season of CLOSE ENOUGH dropped on Thursday, February 25, 2021 on HBO Max. In the new season, Josh, Emily and the gang continuing to navigate adulthood while contending with haunted couches, bulbous horses, time-travelling whiskeys, and a literal houseguest from hell -- all in their very own apartment. Season 2 guest stars include Rachel Bloom, Heidi Gardner, Keith David, Cheri Oteri, Kevin Michael Richardson, Kate Micucci, David Koechner, Vanessa Marshall, Wendie Malick, Kate Berlant, and Michaela Watkins. On Monday, January 24, 2022 at 10:30pm ET/PT, tbs premiered the second season of CLOSE ENOUGH. In the season opener, "Josh Gets Shredded; Meet the Frackers," after struggling to play with Candice, Josh tries to get fit but overdoes it. Randy discovers his birth parents are alive and wealthy.
