Plot Synopsis

CLARENCE is a 15-minute, animated comedy series that follows Clarence, the new kid at school, as he tries to make friends. Clarence is an optimistic, spirited, lovable boy who sees the best in all things and wants to try everything, and his novel perspective transforms nearly any situation, however mundane, into the best day ever. Clarence shares his adventures with his remarkable group of friends and family. His two best friends include the scrappy Sumo and the cautious Jeff. Keeping Clarence contained is the responsibility of his sassy and patient mom Mary and her laid-back boyfriend Chad. Cartoon Network released a four-minute sneak peek of CLARENCE in July 2013 at Comic-Con and online. Seven months later, Cartoon Network aired the full-length pilot as a sneak-peek episode on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 8:30pm ET/PT, immediately following the 4th Annual Hall of Game Awards. CLARENCE had its official series premiere two months later on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 7pm ET/PT on Cartoon Network.
