CITIES OF SUCCESS is a one-hour quarterly documentary series that features U.S. cities, which have transformed into business power centers. The series highlights a a different city each quarter, revealing the entrepreneurial spirit that has attracted capital, companies, and employees. When selecting cities for the series, CNBC experts factored in metrics such as population rate change, GDP growth between 2010 and 2021, local home price growth since 2022, income growth, and unemployment rates. Specials include:

"Nashville" (Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 10pm ET/7pm PT on CNBC): Anchored by CNBC's Carl Quintanilla, this episode explores Nashville's remarkable evolution from an economy once almost exclusively powered by music to a prominent center for healthcare and research. The city is experiencing explosive development and attracting the likes of Amazon, Oracle, Nissan, AllianceBernstein, Lamborghini, Ferrari, venture capital, startups and professional sports teams. The program features interviews with country music star Garth Brooks, former Democratic Tennessee Governor and Nashville Mayor Philip Bredesen, former Republican Tennessee Governor and Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam, AllianceBernstein CEO Seth Bernstein, North America Lamborghini CEO Andrea Baldi, among other notable business leaders.
