Plot Synopsis

From Black Friday shopping madness to full family brawls, each half-hour episode of CHRISTMAS WARS gives viewers the gift of seeing the human behavior that secures a place on Santa's Naughty list. In the series opener, "Claus and Effect," in California, a paragliding Santa Claus has a head on collision with a power line; fists fly between two bargain-hunting Black Friday shoppers at a mall in Kentucky; a Colorado driver saves Christmas when he chases down a delivery truck sprinkling the highway with last-minute gifts; at a New Year's Eve celebration in Texas, a lit firecracker makes its way into a car's trunk that's filled with fireworks; and a motorcycle-riding Santa Claus in Paris chases down a driver after witnessing a shocking hit-and-run.

The entire four-episode second season of CHRISTMAS WARS debuted on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 9-11pm ET/PT on A&E:

"Sleigh It Ain't So" (9pm): A man dressed as Santa watches four women duke it out in a Massachusetts mall. A woman in Canada wrestles with a large hedge in what may be an attempt to get a free Christmas tree. A pregnant waitress in Pennsylvania gets an unexpected surprise from three generous customers. On Thanksgiving morning, a driver in Boston loses control on a side street. Disaster strikes in California, as numerous Christmas Day sledders slide out onto a half-frozen lake.

"Crashing Through the Snow" (9:30pm): A woman fresh from a holiday party in Illinois stands in the middle of the road and dares police to arrest her. A Christmas gift turns terrifying when it spontaneously bursts into flames inside a small Belgium apartment. A Thanksgiving chef makes use of a high powered jet engine. An unexpected and very unwelcome holiday guest makes a mess of a family's basement in Indiana. A malfunctioning snowmobile creates a major headache for a Minnesota homeowner.

"Merry Prankmas" (10pm): A family in Canada cuts down a Christmas tree, with unintended consequences. In Washington, a woman pranks her grinchy husband with the assistance of their whole neighborhood. A Wisconsin woman discovers that some Black Friday deals are too good to be true. A New York family's tiki bar goes up in flames when they attempt to burn their dried-out Christmas tree. On New Year's day, an elderly resident in Las Vegas puts his apartment complex manager through a harrowing experience over a maintenance issue.

"Worst Christmas Ever" (10:30pm): Workers installing a massive Christmas light display in New Zealand run into some extremely dangerous equipment issues. Two coworkers at a retail store come to blows during a holiday party. A young boy in Alabama is overjoyed after receiving a very special outfit for Christmas. An Ontario man reenacts a famous Christmas movie scene and pays a price. A homeowner in Washington pulls out all the stops as he tries to prevent his holiday deliveries from disappearing.
