Plot Synopsis

Christina, who started out on FLIP OR FLOP as a nearly broke house flipper with now ex-husband Tarek, helms her own series, CHRISTINA ON THE COAST. In her new series, cameras follow Christina as she transforms SoCal clients' outdated properties into high-end showplaces, while spotlighting her personal journey after her split with Tarek. CHRISTINA ON THE COAST began filming in Orange County, CA, on Monday, June 25, 2018, and it premiered 11 months later on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT on HGTV. In the series opener, "A New Kitchen for an Old Friend," Christina's lifelong friend, Cassie, is moving back to her childhood home in Anaheim Hills, California. The home has not been renovated in over 17 years, and she's hoping Christina can work her magic on the dated kitchen and dining area.

The sophomore season of CHRISTINA ON THE COAST premiered on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT on HGTV. In the season opener, "Firehouse Functional Kitchen," a family is anxious to turn their dark, closed off kitchen into an open concept living space with plenty of upgrades. As a firefighter, he's all about function while she's concerned with style and struggles to make decisions. One week earlier HGTV debuted "Catching Up," a one-hour CHRISTINA ON THE COAST special. In this special, Christina -- with husband Ant and her best friend Cassie -- reflects on her accomplishments from the last year. From launching a business to pulling off a secret wedding, she looks back at her best moments with unseen footage and a sneak peek of the new season. After a 6-month break, CHRISTINA ON THE COAST returned with new episodes on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 9-10pm ET/PT on HGTV, immediately following a 5-hour marathon of encore episodes. In the one-hour mid-season premiere, "Dysfunctional to Functional Kitchen," Christina returns to work after having her baby, but she may need help from her friends as she juggles a newborn and tackles her new clients' home. The couple wants a bright kitchen with a modern-farmhouse design and a layout that opens up their space. NOTE: The mid-season premiere is called Season 2 on the HGTV consumer site and most sources, but it's Season 3 on discovery+.

HGTV premiered the third season of CHRISTINA ON THE COAST on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT, immediately following a new special (8pm) and a six-hour marathon (2-8pm) of encore episodes. In the special (8pm), "Let's Dish," Christina sits down with close friends, Cassie and Shannon, to dish about her favorite home designs as well as her exciting life juggling kids, dogs, friendships and a very busy work schedule. Then, in the season opener, "Heartfelt Hacienda Makeover," Christina's design partner James brings her a project from a musical family in Fullerton, California, and she learns that their house is full of memories and tailors her design to underscore a homeowner's nostalgia. NOTE: This collection of episodes is called Season 3 on the HGTV consumer site and most listings sources, but it's Season 4 on discovery+.

Season 4 of CHRISTINA ON THE COAST debuted on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT on HGTV. In the new season, real estate expert and designer Christina Hall and her team, including fellow designer and project manager James Bender, delight more clients with home renovations in her signature style. While work is booming, the busy mom, author and entrepreneur also spends quality time with her children and husband Josh Hall. She'll take them on fun SoCal outings like goat yoga, consider a house purchase that will move them closer to family and friends, and collaborate with daughter Taylor on her bedroom refresh. In the premiere episode, "A New Outlook," Christina settles with Josh and the kids into a new home, while she and James catch up and get back to work. For this season's first job, Christina meets a couple who wish for a main floor overhaul that boasts an open concept and a bright, airy vibe. A dream kitchen anchors the space and features a wine bar, statement rattan light fixtures and vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams. Adding to the season lineup, Christina helps repeat clients give their dated bathrooms a modern upgrade and design a resort-worthy pool for her contractor. After a six-month break, CHRISTINA ON THE COAST returned with new episodes on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 9pm ET/PT on HGTV. In the summer premiere, "Outgrowing Old Spaces," Christina helps Amy and Scott transform their home to better serve their active family of five. Christina's best friend Cassie, and husband James, reveal an important detail of expanding their own family at their daughter Jules' first birthday party.

On Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered the fifth season of CHRISTINA ON THE COAST. Christina and her team, including fellow designer and project manager James Bender, transform outdated properties into dream homes by incorporating functionality and modern amenities, such as open floorplans, custom storage solutions, coveted indoor-outdoor living areas and spacious primary bedrooms featuring spa-inspired bathrooms. In Season 5, alongside husband Josh Hall, the busy mom of three, author and entrepreneur also celebrates milestone birthdays -- her 40th and daughter Taylor's 13th -- and enjoys one-on-one time with son Brayden completing finishing touches for a final reveal. During the season premiere, Christina navigates her most challenging -- and personal -- client and project yet when she renovates her childhood home for her parents, Paul and Laurie. Multiple spaces will get much-needed upgrades, all while keeping the same footprint and existing hardwood floors that her parents cherish. Christina's design expertise will help guide them on all the big decisions, including kitchen cabinets and counters, a unique marble backsplash for the reimagined built-in bar, and bold patterned wallpaper and hexagon tile for the powder bathroom.

On Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered "Lofty Ambitions," the Season 5 finale of CHRISTINA ON THE COAST. A couple's home needs major upgrades and a separate homeschooling space, and the homeowner plans to handle the construction himself! This is Christina's first client and contractor in one, and she's tested by ambitious plans and unexpected obstacles.
