Plot Synopsis

CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST is a half-hour reality series that follows self-made multimillionaire Todd Chrisley, his devoted wife Julie, and their five children, who live a seemingly picture-perfect Southern life -- with everything money can buy -- while dealing with real-life issues and lots of drama behind the facade of their 30,000-square-foot home in Atlanta. Todd keeps the family in line through his tough, and at times brutally honest, form of parenting, often running his family like his business -- with an iron fist, micromanaging every move and expenditure made by each member of the Chrisley clan. The rest of the Chrisleys are: wife Julie, the daughter of a Baptist minister and former Miss Carolina, who is also Todd's business partner and best friend; eldest daughter Lindsie, age 24, who stunned Todd by her decision to elope and then five months later surprised him even more with the news that she was expecting her first child; eldest son Kyle, age 22, was once shipped off to Samoa by his parents to work with the Red Cross after he was caught with a married woman; favorite child Chase, a 17-year-old top athlete, who is always trying to outsmart his dad; youngest daughter Savannah, a 16-year-old pageant queen, who boasts a 4.2 grade point average and has grand dreams of being Miss Georgia one day; and youngest child Grayson, age seven, who gets away with just about everything.

CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST returned for a 12-episode second season with back-to-back new episodes on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT. Season 2 features many milestones and family adventures, including their move into a brand new home, teenage daughter Savannah's first date without her watchful dad (or so she thinks!), Chase's much-anticipated 18th birthday, and a memorable Father's Day which does not exactly go Todd's way.

Season 3 of CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST premiered on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, as USA Network premiered back-to-back new episodes (9-10pm) immediately following an all-day marathon (11am-9pm) of encore episodes. The new season promises even more over-the-top Todd moments, as he and his wife Julie continue to raise their two teenagers, Chase and Savannah, eight-year-old son Grayson and two-year-old granddaughter Chloe -- all under one roof. The 18-episode third season airs in two parts with 12 episodes this summer. In the season opener (9pm), "Savannah's Big Id-ea," the Chrisleys are interviewed for a magazine and Todd writes a script for his family to memorize -- but when things go off script, Todd retaliates with some honesty. Then, in the night's second new episode (9:30pm), "Life's a Pitch," Todd tries to help out and coach Grayson's baseball team but discovers he's in over his head and struggles to gain control of overzealous nine year olds. After a four-month break, CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST returned for its Season 3 fall premiere on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT on USA Network, immediately following an all-day marathon (6am-10pm) of encore episodes. In the mid-season premiere, "Chrisleys Take London," Chase and Savannah are ecstatic to embark on a family graduation trip to London, much to the chagrin of Todd, a creature of habit who's never left the country. The family pushes Todd to his limits when they attempt to break free of his extra controlling tendencies abroad.

The 12-episode fourth season of CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST premiered on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT, immediately following a nine-hour marathon (1-10pm) of encore epiosodes. The first part of Season 4 focuses on the Chrisley household as they adjust to an emptier nest, one where Todd and Julie attempt to rule the roost from afar without as much control over their grown children as they've had in the past. Todd and Julie must adjust to a new norm, with only their grandchildren, youngest son Grayson, and Todd's entertaining mother, Nanny Faye at home. When Chase becomes serious about a tattoo, or Savannah turns up an unlikely companion to her loneliness, mom and dad always find ways to rule with an iron fist, no matter the distance. Julie and Todd are more immersed in their family's lives than ever before -- constantly checking Chase and Savannah's college grades, catching Grayson in lies or taking bribes from his siblings, or commandeering Lindsie's birthday party for Jackson. With their normal flair for comedy, and a touch of raw emotion in this new phase of their lives, the Chrisleys come to realize that no matter how far away their children may go, they can always come home -- and Todd will make sure they always do...especially when he needs them most. In the Season 4 opener, "Crowning Achievements," Todd plans a party to celebrate Savannah's being named Miss Tennessee USA, because he was disappointed that he missed Savannah being crowned. But tension builds when it becomes clear the party is more for Todd than Savannah.

On Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT, USA Network premieres the fifth season of CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST. In the season opener, "50 Shades of Faye," nanny Faye joins the world of online dating, but when Todd gets wind of it he makes himself her chaperone. New homeowners Chase and Savannah compete for Todd's handouts to furnish their homes. Next week, Savannah agrees to manage Todd's singing career for a school project and unwittingly unleashes his inner diva. Chase struggles to throw a dinner for the family to prove he can out do Savannah.

On Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT, USA Network premiered the sixth season of CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST. As the kids grow up and enter new phases of their lives, they often go their own ways, but no matter what happens, they know they can always come home, and Todd will make sure they always do... especially when he needs them most. In the season opener, "Training Faye," Julie gets frustrated when the family use Chloe's birthday as a reason to compete against each other. And, Nanny Faye gets more than she bargained for when Todd insists on being her trainer.

The 26-episode seventh season of CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST premiered on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 10-11pm ET/PT, as USA Network debuted back-to-back new episodes. "Man-o-pause" (10pm): Todd receives an alarming diagnosis. Grayson's broken phone fixes his money problems. "Rugrats" (10:30pm): Julie forces Todd to host Chloe's first slumber party. Faye smells a rat. After a two-month break, CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST returned with new episodes on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 9-10pm ET/PT, as USA Network debuted back-to-back new episodes.

On Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT, USA Network premiered the eighth season of CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST. In the season opener, "Grandma Theft Auto," Savannah deals with a big secret; meanwhile, Todd teaches Faye a lesson when she demands he buy her a new car. After a two-month break, CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST returned with new episodes on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 10pm ET/PT on USA Network. In the mid-season premiere, "Faye's Pig Adventure," Todd decides to bring down the neighborhood drug dealer; meanwhile, Faye goes into the truffle business. On Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT on USA Network, Season 8 of CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST returned with new episodes. The eighth season continues to follow the entertaining life of outspoken patriarch Todd Chrisley and his over-the-top Southern family. Always by Todd's side is his loving wife Julie, their charming, strong-willed children Chase, Savannah and Grayson, darling granddaughter Chloe and Todd's beloved mother, Nanny Faye. Throughout the rest of this season, the family antics don't stop as Todd and Chase gear up for a road trip, Nanny Faye packs her bags for a sizzling "seniors cruise," Todd goes on a mission to prove to Julie that he "still has it" after 25 years of marriage, Grayson has dreams of becoming a storm chaser, and Savannah plans her next exciting personal and professional steps.

Season 9 of CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST premiered on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT on USA Network. While Todd and Julie celebrate 25 years of marital bliss, they find themselves crashing with Nanny Faye as they search for their new dream home. Savannah prepares to take over her parents former residence, but struggles to find a way to make it her own. When Nanny Faye delves into a new business venture, she finds herself in a turf war with a neighboring competitor. Even though Grayson is now the tallest sibling, he still finds himself leaning on his older brother Chase for dating advice. Todd's parenting is tested as Chloe wants to quit swimming and Savannah is tired of him treating her more like a business partner than a daughter. Whether they are enjoying a NASCAR race or a family vacation in Florida, one thing is certain, Chrisley hijinks and hilarity will follow. On Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 9pm ET/PT, USA Network debuted "No Basic B*tch," the mid-season premiere of CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST. Todd offends Faye during a gardening contest; Chase plays grill master for the 4th of July BBQ.
