Plot Synopsis
Sixteen celebrity chefs compete against each other as they try to win $50,000 (Seasons 1-3) or $75,000 (Season 4) for their favorite charity. Since the contestants are experts, CHOPPED offers even greater culinary challenges with mystery basket ingredients like teething biscuits, rabbit kidneys and dried hibiscus flowers. In each of the first four episodes of a season, four All Stars compete against each other, and the winner of each episode advances to that season's finals to battle in the Grand Finale contest. The 16 All Stars in Season 1 were: Nate Appleman; Anne Burrell; Maneet Chauhan; Amanda Freitag; Lisa Garza; Duff Goldman; Robert Irvine; Debbie Lee; Anito Lo; Beau MacMillan; Michael Proietti; Claire Robinson; Aaron Sanchez; Brad Sorenson; Jacques Torres; and Geoffrey Zakarian. In Season 2, these All Stars competed: Iron Chefs Cat Cora, Marc Forgione, Jose Garces and Michael Symon; cooking-show hosts Keegan Gerhard, Jeffrey Saad, Aarti Sequeira and Marcela Valladolid; FOOD NETWORK STAR Season 7 finalists Justin Balmes, Penny Davidi, Vic 'Vegas' Moea and Chris Nirschel; and CHOPPED judges Alex Guarnaschelli, Marc Murphy, Marcus Samuelsson and Chris Santos. Season 3, which premiered on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT, featured these All Stars: Cooking Channel hosts Nadia G. and Gabriele Corcos; Food Network hosts Jeff Mauro and Sunny Anderson; Mega Chefs Elizabeth Falkner, Chuck Hughes, Gavin Kaysen, and Richard Blais; CHOPPED judges Scott Conant, Amanda Freitag, Alex Guarnaschelli, and Marc Murphy; and celebrities Johnny Weir, Joey Fatone, Laila Ali, and Judy Gold. CHOPPED ALL-STARS returned for its fourth season on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT on Food Network. Celebrity chefs for Season 4 are: Art Smith, Brian Malarkey, Eric Greenspan & Madison Cowan in the season premiere; Anne Burrell, Dale Talde, Hung Huynh & Mary Sue Milliken; Antonia Lofaso, Cat Cora, Marcel Vigneron & Michael Psilakis; and Fabio Viviani, Jet Tila, Lee Anne Wong & Rocco Dispirito. For the show's fourth season, CHOPPED judges Aaron Sanchez, Alex Guarnaschelli, Amanda Freitag, Chris Santos, Geoffrey Zakarian, Maneet Chauhan, Marc Murphy, and Scott Conant appear throughout the season on the rotating three-judge panel to decide who gets chopped.

On Monday, May 26, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, Food Network premiered the Season 4 finale of the CHOPPED ALL-STARS TOURNAMENT with four winning All-Stars -- Art Smith, Anne Burrell, Michael Psilakis, and Jet Tila -- returning to the Chopped Kitchen to compete for $75,000 for their favorite charity. The competitors find something purple and something fishy in the appetizer basket. In a tense entree round, a seafood tower threatens to topple the competitors' cool. Before being awarded the largest charitable prize in CHOPPED history, the final two All-Star chefs must handle a very hot pepper and conquer a cookie cake in the dessert round.
