Plot Synopsis

Chica the Chicken, one of the loveable characters on THE SUNNY SIDE UP SHOW, now stars in her own series, THE CHICA SHOW, which follows Chica and her cast of of friends as they explore all the whimsical, humorous costumes and accessories in The Costume Coop -- a playful shop filled with every costume imaginable -- where Chica helps her parents. THE CHICA SHOW is a mix of live action and animation, allowing Chica and her friends, as they magically transform into animated characters and set off on adventures that offer teachable moments for preschoolers. THE CHICA SHOW's characters include: Chica the Chicken, a lovable, huggable four-year-old chicken, who loves making new friends, laughing and playing -- and dressing up is one of her favorite things to do; Kelly, Chica's best friend and co-worker at The Costume Coop, whose fun personality ensures customers leave with a smile -- and she also loves to laugh, sing and play; Chica's Mom and Dad, the owners of The Costume Coop, who welcome customers and viewers with open wings and big brock-a-doodle smiles; Stitches, a huggable rag doll sitting in The Costume Coop window, who springs to life to join his friends for animated adventures -- and was designed with Mario Lopez's personality in mind; Bunji, every preschooler's perfect pet, who is a sweet, fluffy, lionhead rabbit that lives in a fantastical house in The Costume Coop; and the Sproutlets and their Families, real human characters, who are walk around the shop -- and sometimes ask questions or make requests that set off the next adventure.
