Plot Synopsis

CHEER PERFECTION is a reality series that follows Youth Silver, an elite cheerleading team in Sherwood, Arkansas led by Alisha Dunlap, who expects perfection from the kids in her gym. Not only do the children have to deal with the pressure of a demanding coach, but their competitive moms add more drama as they live vicariously through their children. This series begins with the start of a new cheerleading season, when Youth Silver finds it must quickly improve if it wants to do well on the national stage, especially after its poor performance at the Travelers' game. TLC first aired CHEER PERFECTION as a one-hour special on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 10pm ET, more than five months before the program returned for its series premiere, with new episodes shown through early February 2013. Following a six-month break, CHEER PERFECTION returned with new episodes on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 9:30pm ET/PT on TLC.
