Plot Synopsis

CHEAT DAY USA is a half-hour docuseries that follows chef Robert Irvine as he travels across America searching for the craziest, most indulgent, most deliciously decadent meals to tuck into between gym days. Episodes include:

"Wake Up and Cheat" (Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 9pm ET/6pm PT): Robert Irvine is indulging in the most mouthwatering breakfasts around, starting in Long Beach, Calif., with homemade baklava-inspired pancakes and a rich brunch burger with next-level Greek flavors. In Richmond, there are life-changing waffles, like the crispy, gooey mac and cheese waffle and a sweet cereal-crusted fried chicken and waffle. Then, the party keeps going in Las Vegas with creme brulee-covered oats and a luscious caviar omelet that's so sinful it was a secret, until now.

"Burgers with a Side of Guilt" (Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 9pm ET/6pm PT): Hamburgers are an American classic, but these cheat-worthy patties are in a league of their own. In Torrance, Calif., Robert Irvine tries the Korean-inspired "Bull Burger" made with beef bulgogi and crunchy kimchi and served with truffle fries that have a special Hawaiian twist. In Boston, there's a steak and cheeseburger with three layers of mind-blowing, creamy sauces and a cookie-inspired blue milkshake to make your inner child go wild. Then, in San Antonio, an ice cream burger is a surprising sweet, salty sensation served with decadent housemade tots.

"Surprisingly Sweet" (Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 9pm ET/6pm PT): Cheating with sweets is an American pastime, but these confections are anything but ordinary. Robert Irvine heads to Cerritos, Calif., for a unique s'mores dessert made with fries, and then he meets a chef topping juicy fried chicken with ice cream in San Antonio. Finally, a historic doughnut shop in Las Vegas is creating ingenious ways to enjoy their classic dessert.

"Sinful Sandwiches" (Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 9pm ET/6pm PT): Robert Irvine starts his cheat day quest in New Orleans, where he finds a decadent, gravy-smothered roast beef and fried shrimp po' boy. Then, in Los Angeles, the classic American grilled cheese gets a savory Mexican twist by adding tender roast marinated in sweet, smoky peppers. Finally, in Denver, a barbecue sandwich is taken to new heights with hickory-smoked beef, pork and sausage, slathered with homemade creamy cheese sauce and topped with beer-battered onion rings.
