Plot Synopsis

A team of three trained investigators -- a skeptic, a believer and a "skeliever" -- travels across the United States to search for and uncover the truth about UFOs and extraterrestrial activity. Ben McGee, a space-minded geoscientist and team skeptic, is engaged in the development of xenoarchaeology -- a speculative form of archaeology exploring possible alien life and culture. Erin Ryder (aka Ryder), the team "skeliever" in charge of tech and recon, uses her unique perspective, competitive nature and determination to undercover the truth as she travels around the globe to research claims of the strange and mysterious. James Fox, a UFOlogist and team believer, is convinced not only that UFOs are real, but that governments have concealed information on this subject from the public for more than 60 years. Risking it all, this team of scientists and UFO researchers investigate and dissect some of the most mysterious sightings on the planet to unearth stunning new evidence, including expeditions to: Texas, where the team investigates reports of mysterious lights spotted in the skies over two Texas towns; central California, where residents fear they are being watched after witnessing unusual objects patrolling the night skies; the Colorado Rockies, where the trio investigates claims of animal mutilations and reports of abductions in San Luis Valley, a town with decades of history involving UFO sightings; Roswell, NM, which is home to thousands of reports of unidentified flying objects, but one particular home video has the Chasing UFO's team in hot pursuit of the truth; Phoenix, AZ, where hundreds of people all note seeing a triangular formation of lights in the sky, and the team watches video from 1993 of this phenomena; and Kennedy Space Center in Florida, where residents reported a series of strange glowing orbs trailing the shuttle's launch into space.
