Plot Synopsis

Hosted by WWE superstar and former CHALLENGE competitor Mike 'The Miz' Mizanin, this eight-week special event series, THE CHALLENGE: CHAMPS VS. STARS, features ten of the fiercest champions from past CHALLENGE seasons. The alumni go head-to-head against ten celebrity athletes and entertainers in challenge-style competitions to determine who will reign supreme. Winners compete for a chance to take a share of the $150,000 cash prize to donate to their beloved charities. Each one-hour episode pits the two teams against each other in grueling challenges. The winning team from each challenge nominates their most valuable player (MVP) who receives money for their charity, is safe from elimination, and chooses their team's least valuable player (LVP) to go into elimination. The losing team nominates their own LVP to go into elimination, and the two compete to keep their spot in the game. The stars include: Ariane Andrew (competing for: Black Girls Rock); Josh Murray (Extra Special People); Justina Valentine (Young Women's Leadership Network); Kim Glass (Covenant House); Matt Rife (World Wildlife Foundation); Michelle Waterson (MVP Vets and Players); Riff Raff (Nevada SPCA); Romeo Miller (Team Hope NOLA); Shawn Johnson (Hope Sports); and Terrell Owens (Ky Cares Foundation). The champs are: Aneesa Ferreira; Wes Bergman; Jenna Compono; Emily Schromm; Zach Nichols; Chris 'CT' Tamburello; Cory Wharton; Ashley Brooke; Johnny 'Bananas' Devenanzio. Season 2 of THE CHALLENGE: CHAMPS VS. STARS premiered on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT on MTV, with The Miz returning as host. The stars for the new season include Drake Bell (competing for: Global Down Syndrome); Casper Smart (Inner City Arts); Lil Mama (Man Up! Inc); Brooke Hogan (PETA: People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals); Hennessy Carolina (BronxWorks); Daniel Gibson (American Diabetes Association); Selita Ebanks (New Yorkers for Children); Arian Foster (Arian Foster Family Foundation); Louise Hazel (BLSYW); and Jozea Flores (Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund). The champs this season are: Kam Williams; Aneesa Ferreira; Ashley Brooke; Kailah Casillas; Tori Deal; Tony Raines; Shane Landrum; Chris 'CT' Tamburello; Wes Bergman; and Devin Walker.
