Plot Synopsis

Cesar Millan searches for families to adopt "unadoptable" dogs by having families compete in challenges to find the perfect match -- and new homes for these pound dogs. In each one-hour episode, Cesar takes on a new dog and helps three families learn about the dog's breed and its behaviors, before they take part in a series of challenges, such as walking a dog on a busy walking path or teaching a dog basic manners. Dogs featured on this series include: Rosie, a Staffie that's been in and out of shelters and has developed some bad habits; JET, a big and strong Labrador crossbreed that's been so unruly he scares possible adopters away at the shelter; and many more dogs that don't show well at shelters. Nat Geo Wild aired a sneak-peek episode of this series on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 10pm ET, immediately following the one-hour biopic, CESAR MILLAN: THE REAL STORY. LEADER OF THE PACK officially premiered on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10pm ET.
