Plot Synopsis

Andy Richter hosts the ultimate dinner party where celebrity foodies and chefs pair up to enjoy great food, while facing off in a series of fast-paced food-inspired games. In Season 1, each one-hour episode of CELEBRITY FOOD FIGHT features four celebrities, including: Tony Hale, Marilu Henner, Jaleel White & Fred Willard; Jackee Harry, Ross Mathews, John O'Hurley & Carnie Wilson; and Dean Cain, Joey McIntyre, Richard Blais & Katie Lee. Plus, celebrity chef Eric Greenspan is on hand to cook for one of the parties.

Season 2 of CELEBRITY FOOD FIGHT premiered on Sunday, May 29, 2016 from 10-11pm ET/PT, as Food Network debuted back-to-back new episodes. In the second season, two teams of two, each consisting of a chef and a celebrity, compete in a variety of unique food-related games designed to test their culinary knowledge. From Cooking The Books, where the teams must find the fake cookbook title, to Talking With Your Mouth Full, where contestants read the names of entrees with their mouths full, while their teammates must correctly guess what they said, to Finger Foods, where the contestants must put their hands in a box and use their fingers to correctly identify each edible item, playing with food has never ever been this fun! At the end of the night, one team wins the coveted golden dinner plate and the losing team gets stuck washing Andy's dirty dishes. In the season opener (10pm), "Tom Arnold and Melissa Rivers: Down and Dirty Dinner Battle," Andy welcomes TV host Melissa Rivers and Chef Aaron Sanchez as they take on comedian Tom Arnold and Chef Anne Burrell. Teams must try and talk with a mouth full of crackers, unscramble food anagrams and identify ingredients just by touching them. Then, in the night's second new episode (10:30pm), "Greg Grunberg Goes Gooey," Andy's dinner party features Chef Damaris Phillips and comedian Kym Whitley taking on Chef Anne Burrell and actor Greg Grunberg. Andy's guests must identify the odd fillings inside chocolates, test their food trivia knowledge while holding a hot potato and play with some unusual kitchen gadgets. Other celebrities and chefs joining the fun in the 10 half-hour episode second season are Jonathan Bennett, Richard Blais, Kim Coles, Scott Conant, Coolio, Andy Dick, Graham Elliot, Bill Engvall, Jennie Garth, Duff Goldman, Alex Guarnaschelli, Penn Jillette, Kristen Johnston, Kevin Jonas, Christopher Knight, Katie Lee, Tara Lipinksi, Antonia Lofaso, Carlos Mencia, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Caroline Rhea, Jean Smart, Ruben Studdard, and Kendra Wilkinson.
